Rising rupee makes the exporters sweat!

With the rupee rising steadily against the U.S dollar,most of the exporters are already feeling the pinch as they can see their profits evaporating fast as a result of the falling Dollar.it is not only the exporters who are feeling the pinch but also the other companies that provide/export their services to their western counterparts.and since they get paid in the U.S dollar,their profits are also fast drying up.

Naturally the BPO's come under this list.the key question on everyone's mind is that will India follow Japan's route.that is,will the RBI intervene in the market and make sure that the dollar does not weaken any more.such solutions are quite risky and any gains made by such moves is temporary because sooner or later the natural order of the currencies will prevail.Japan knows that they are only postponing the inevitable and hopefully India will realise this as well!

Japanese yen on the rise again??

This is nothing new.with the Japanese yen on the rise again against the U.S dollar all eyes are on the Japanese central bank.if things hold true to form then the Japanese central bank will intervene shortly to make sure that the Yen stays undervalued.this sort of intervention is causing havoc amongst the other Asian currencies and it is high time that Japan let the yen 'float free'.as such this is ripe time for the forex traders to buy the yen and then sell it as soon as the yen starts to weaken against the dollar which will happen as soon as the Japanese central banks intervene.so may sure that you cover all the press releases or interviews by any staff of the Japanese central banks as they are sure to give some hint as to the timeline!

Japan to increase cooperation with India!

Isuzu motors is all set to produce midsize buses in India soon.this only highlights the fact that Japan's co-operation with India has increased and the Japanese want to do much more.all of this could be a new apprehension on Japan's part on the rising influence of China.
Of course,Japan is one of China's largest trading partner but that does not mean that the Chinese have forgiven Japan for the war atrocities commit ed on them.Japan has a good reason to be apprehensive of China.China,of late has been more aggressive in business deals even going to the extent of undercutting allies.Japan does not see China as an enemy but rather as an unpredictable enemy of sorts,which naturally is all the more dangerous.either way Japan is all set to increase cooperation with India ten fold and is planning to prop up India as a counter weight to China.

A puny shot for climate change!

Japan has vowed 100 million to fight climate change which is more than what the other countries are doing.but the question is "is this enough?".the answer of sourse,is that "it is not enough,not even close!"
climate change or rather the effects of it on our climate has progressed to the level that we have a big hole in the ozone layer around Earth.so this 100 million will in no way be anywhere near enough to stem it.lets not forget that Japan is a very tiny nation which does not contribute that much by way of harmful greenhouse gases.and inspite of not being a major contributor to this problem they have contributed 100 million to fight it.we should all applaud what Japan has done.one can only hope that the major contributor of the greenhouse gases,the United States wil either match the 100 million dollar fund or at the least top it.
one should also remember that money alone will not solve this problem but rather one should take the required action on the gorund which will invlove cutting down on the greenhouse emmissions by at least a huge margin to start off with and then totalll minimalising them altogether.this will take resolve and ladies and gentlemen,the fight for our planet has began with Japan firing the first salvo!
