APEC seeks an end to DOHA standoff!

The APEC countries pledged to end the DOHA standoff.but that situation has developed into a sort of a catch-22 situation and would require more give than take on the part of the developed world.the Doha came to this hiatus mainly because the developed world did not want to compromise their markets in any manner whatsoever.but it is high time that they realised that in order to have a proper trade agreement,it is necessary to give more and thereby be a shining example to the rest of the world.
The BRIC countries, namely Brazil,Russia,India and China have their own emerging markets and therefore they have their own positions which is that the developed world should do more and not cohort the developing world to do so much for so little.now South Africa is slowly but surely veering towards the BRIC group and where South Africa goes the rest of the African nations will soon follow.if the APEC seriously want this standoff to end then it is high time that they came off their high horse and do something about all of this!
